okay, so is it possible that it's been over a year since that first post? really? i refuse to believe it. anyway, i really do want to embrace this easy way to keep friends and family up on sadie news...plus, i've realized that since amy has been on a "wyatt hiatus" from her blog, i've been having serious withdrawals. i check it every day in hopes of seeing the little guy or hearing news about her life and i thought some of you might feel the same about us! so here is my second attempt at getting this going.
also, it dawned on me this week that sadie's baby/toddler/preschool days are coming to a rapid end...mark and i are going to kindergarten visitation this tuesday. i'm excited to meet the principal, see her classroom and check out the school, but it seems a bit surreal. i also realize that while there are enormous benefits in being a mother of advanced age, the big drawback is that you can't remember much. i need to start writing it down. hopefully i'll get this down before we start her college applications!
in addition to sadie updates, i will bore you from time to time with other stuff that happens around here...we'll just have to see how it evolves. i know myself better than to make any promises :) we've been on some great trips this last year and i got five new cookbooks over the holidays...so we'll see.
